WHO WE ARE

WHAT WE DO

THE HELPING OURSELVES PROGRAM

HOUSE Foundation proves to the world that we can empower at-risk young adults to HELP THEMSELVES through a unique model that is business-driven and science-based called the HELPING OURSELVES PROGRAM (HOP).

HOP is a unique curriculum that we developed over eight years. Our multidisciplinary approach focuses on four pillars:

ACADEMIC

EDUCATION

Learners pay for their own education using their allowances from Messy Bessy or other partner Enterprises (minimum wage).

PSYCHOSOCIAL

INTERVENTION

HOUSE Foundation has in-house counselors that cater to the issues of the at-risk youth, who we call learners

VALUES

EDUCATION

We conduct learning and development classes that highlight different values that will be relevant and helpful to the learners

WORK ETHICS

TRAINING

Learners are taught about professionalism and accountability by being closely monitored by their supervisors that also act as their mentors.

This program was created with our young adults’ holistic development in mind. We recognize that providing academic education is not always enough to form and motivate our students to become responsible and self-reliant individuals. That is why we provide them with values education, as well as, psychosocial interventions. We also provide them with work skills and ethics training to make them more equipped and competent to join the work force after finishing the program.
